Sustainable printing, from power to paper
As a printer of package leaflets and booklets for the pharmaceutical industry, we work every day to deliver a product that is both high-quality and responsible. To us, sustainability is not a marketing term but an investment in the continuity of our company and in the region where we have been active for more than 50 years. This page explains what that means in practice.
Generating our own energy
At our site in Turnhout, we produce a large share of our electricity ourselves:
- Wind turbine (3.6 MW): Our on-site wind turbine supplies green power directly to our presses and finishing equipment.
- Solar panels (500 kWp): The roof of our production hall is fitted with solar panels that generate electricity mainly during production hours.
On an annual basis, we generate more green electricity than our entire printing plant consumes. The surplus is fed into the grid — greening not only our own production, but our region’s as well. In 2025 we generated over 7 million kWh of green electricity, avoiding approximately 1,200 tonnes of CO₂.
Reusing process heat
Printing generates a lot of heat and we make sure none of it goes to waste. We recover residual heat from our production processes and reuse it for heating our buildings, reducing our gas consumption and overall energy demand.
Certified, from forest to leaflet
Our sustainability efforts are externally audited and certified:

- ISO 14001: Our environmental management system ensures that we systematically measure, monitor and improve our environmental impact, from energy use to waste streams.
- FSC® (FSC C148303) and PEFC: The paper we process comes from responsibly managed forests. On request, we print your products with the FSC or PEFC label.
- ISO 9001: Quality management, because sustainability must never come at the expense of the end product.
- ISO 45001: Health and safety of our employees, because sustainable business starts with people.
Materials and waste
We exclusively process paper from certified sources. Paper trimmings and cutting waste are fully separated and recycled. Our printing plates are recycled and we work with low-IPA dampening systems.
